A private journey through the art of Italian gelato.
For one hour, Gelatone closes its doors exclusively for you. Taste the day’s gelati and sorbets through a guided experience hosted inside our Covent Garden gelateria.

Inspired by the idea of omakase — leaving the experience in the hands of the maker — The Gelatone Omakase is a guided journey through the gelati and sorbets produced in our Covent Garden laboratory.
Your host will select the tasting order, beginning with more delicate flavours before progressing towards richer and more intense creations.
Along the way, you’ll discover the ingredients, techniques and decisions behind each flavour.
After the guided tasting, the entire gelato counter opens for you to explore.
Step inside Gelatone after the doors close to the public and experience our Covent Garden boutique in an entirely different way.
No queues. No rush.
Just you, your host, Italian coffee and a counter filled with freshly made gelato.

Your host welcomes you with freshly made Italian coffee and introduces you to Gelatone, our philosophy and the story behind the Covent Garden gelateria.
Discover how artisan gelato is produced, the role of its ingredients and the differences between traditional Italian gelato, ice cream and sorbet.
Your host guides you through a curated sequence of the gelati and sorbets produced that day, explaining the ingredients, composition and inspiration behind each flavour.
After the guided tasting, the counter is yours. Return to your favourites and discover any of the other flavours available that day.

Gelatone is produced in-house in Covent Garden with an obsessive focus on texture, balance and flavour.
